Avatar forever T___T!!

maaan i love this series and the gaang so much.
this drawing is dedicated to this wonderful show that had kept me wanting for more. *cant wait for the live-action movie*

gawd when i was watching the finale, i felt, HAPPY but also at the same time, SAD.
sooo i guess the mixture of both opposite emotions had made me EMOTIONLESS because thats what i felt after finished watching the whole series. T____T;;;

it reaaaally looks kind of weird.
i mean this is like the first time i painted that much shadow and light in a picture.
and i dont even think the lightsource in this pic is logical D:
oh its at Ember Islands btw, if you didnt knew D:

ohhh it looks pretty dark on top and kind of bright below, so if u think ur monitor is effed up, its not xD

BIG FAT WATERMARKS ARE PRETTY KTHXBAI.

edit 2012 : Upon reading many anti-whitewashing blogs recently, I've realised that I was being disrespectful and hurtful to PoC when I've whitewashed these characters, regardless of it being intentional or not. In attempt to fix this, I've revisited the painting in order to portray Katara and Sokka as how they should be :)
Tbh, I'm sad that it is only now that I've realised how wrong it is to do so. I am sorry if I ever offended anyone. This will not happen again.
Here's a link to what whitewashing is and why it's such a serious problem : [link]

This is so full of atmosphere and detail - further it captures their relationship real nicely :) (Smile)

I want to ask here in a humble way, too if I could
- set the colors on black and white (or maybe there is a lineart that I am allowed to use?)
- print and
- color this artwork (with credit to the artist) to learn more and to do justice to your artwork and the scenery?

You can find examples in my 'galleries'
